Farms have traditionally been family property and are passed down from generation to generation. Farming is thus spoon-fed to the younger generation. Quality and happy, healthy cattle are a matter of family pride. Because to achieve the best quality, you need attention and passion for your land and especially for your animals. On average, Irish farmers have only 66 cows. Livestock farming in Ireland is therefore often small-scale, combining tradition and ambition in the care of land and animals.
